How do you figure that airsoft belongs in the hunting section?

Yes he does, yahoo doesn’t decide the catagory. Airsoft weapons DO NOT BELONG IN THIS CATAGORY

People should be using Outdoor recreation/other. The guy who says to blame Yahoo must be smoking something. Yahoo only SUGGESTS a category based on content. The person posting the question gets to actually select the category.
You know just the other day I asked why gun questions always ended up in the hunting section, the response I got that actually struck me was that yahoo said there weren’t enough questions for them to create a section. So, maybe that is the reason they suggest it for here.
The first answer is typical of the average airsoft gunner, no responsibility for them selves. Yahoo suggests a category, and rather than take that extra 3 seconds to post it the right one, take the easy way out and click OK. Hey it’s not my fault yahoo told me to post it here……..Have another puff stonerboy.
Airsofters are the bane of the hunting section, it’s been this way for the 2 years I’ve been here.
Yahoo doesn’t care.
I have to be honest, I have no idea what an airsoft gun is. I own many real guns and I have no idea what the purpose of an airsoft gun would be. Also I’ve never sat anywhere and waited for a mouse to stick his head out of anything. Maybe I’m missing out.
I’ve been playing airsoft for about five years now. It isn’t a sport, nobody wants it to be recognized as a sport. It’s bad enough that it’s gone under fire enough in the past ten years. About 99% of us that play it look at it as a very expensive hobby.
Maybe there should be another section for outdoors recreation called Airsoft/Paintball?
Its the best location they have to get feedback unfortunately. Someone should get a man on it for yahoo. They have a lively crowd for that activity.
